The operation is controlled by a smart system.
The machine is equipped with sensors that measure and control its operation in real time. It can optimize its own performance, based on wood type, making it well suited for all log sizes. The processor has a data connection, which allows connecting to the factory, for example, in the case of updates.
This unit is rated for 15.75” logs and comes with the 6 way wedge and 6 way Perfect split cassette.
It can also be fitted with 4 way wedge, an 8 way wedge, a 12 way wedge, and Perfect Split Knife with 4 way cassette.
The 405 is also equipped with the Perfect Clean system clearing processed wood of dust and debris.
The outfeed conveyor is 14’ long and swivels hydraulically.
If you lift the guard the machine immediately stops.
The 405 quickly folds up and is easily carried on your three point hitch, or on pallet forks.
Log lifter or log decks are also available.
